With the FCA currently consulting on a proposed extension of the sustainability disclosure requirements and investment labelling regime (“SDR”) to portfolio managers, with the ‘anti greenwashing rule’ now in full effect for all FCA authorised firms and with the investment labelling regime coming on-stream on 31 July 2024, we thought it a good time to take a look at what the SDR entails and consider if, and to what extent, private equity and venture capital fund managers are and can expect to be impacted by the rules.
