Given the potential cost savings and flexibility afforded by the outsourced General Counsel model, we thought it
beneficial to explore in this article PE/VC Managers’ traditional approach to legal staffing, the implications of the
traditional approach and the advantages that the outsourced General Counsel model has to offer – in particular for
emerging and smaller managers.
